Completed three days ahead of schedule, AMI Automation has successfully upgraded the existing EAF automation & control system at Sandvik Svedala.

The project included the implementation of DigitARC® PX3, AMI’s state-of-the-art electrode control platform with advanced monitoring tools for heat performance, helping reduce electrode consumption and enabling higher, more efficient power input.

The new system is now up and running, marking a key milestone in our ongoing efforts and commitment to delivering reliable, high-performance solutions for EAF operations.

The client highlighted the value of this collaboration, stating: “AMI has been highly professional throughout the project, consistently listening to our needs and delivering quality at every step. We look forward to continued collaboration and having such a competent partner supporting us ahead.” Amanda Jepson, Project Manager, Johnny Hanson, Project Manager, and Thomas Bauer, Technical Manager.

Another successful EMEA project completed by our team, Saul Gonzalez, Director of Global Operations; Antonio Elizondo, Regulation & ATC-E Manager; Marcos Parada Pombo and Ángela García Zamora, Regulation & Support Engineers; Raul Alejandro D., Integration Engineer.
